Oven Roasted Garlic: A DARLING Appetizer!

It is no secret that I am a lover of all things garlic.  Oven roasted garlic has to be one of the easiest and yummiest appetizers out there.  You look totally fancy serving it on your cheese plate and it is seriously melt in your mouth delicious.  When the garlic is roasted in the oven it becomes sweet and tender.  Make sure you make a lot of them because they will be the popular item in your appetizer spread!

[What you Need]

Whole heads of garlic
olive oil
salt
pepper

[What to do]

Preheat your oven to 400.  Slice the tops off of your heads of garlic and place them cut side up into a cupcake pan.  This will keep them from rolling around and tipping over in the oven.  Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Cover the pan with foil so that the tops don't burn and bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until the garlic cloves are tender.  Remove from the oven and drizzle with a little bit more olive oil and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.  Scoop out the cloves of garlic and spread onto pieces of bread or toasts and enjoy!
