Chocolate Chip Cookies

Everyone loves some good old fashioned chocolate chip cookies!  And these are filled with chocolatey goodness.  The oooey gooey centers make them hard to put down.  They didn't last long in our house!

I used the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe to bake these yummy cookies!  But I didn't add the nuts because well, I like my chocolate chip cookies nut free! I also found that if you take them out of the oven a minute or two early, they continue to cook a little more on the pan and turn out chewier and yummier.

[What you need]

2 1/4 Cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 bag of chocolate chips

[What to do]

Preheat oven to 375.  In a medium sized bowl combine the dry ingredients and set aside.

In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until well blended.  Add in the eggs one at a time and beat until combined.  With the mixer on low, slowly add in the dry ingredients in 3 different batches.

Next, add the chocolate chips and mix in by hand to incorporate.  Place small balls of dough onto a pan and bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden on the bottom.  Again, I took mine out a minute early and let them cool on the pan for a few minutes.
