Bruschetta Bread: Tomatoes, Basil, Parmesan, Garlic and a Balsamic Glaze

Looking for the perfect appetizer thats easy to make and will wow all of your guests? Look no further!  Our take on the standard bruschetta appetizer is delicious and easy to make.  This is definitely going to become one of my go to dishes to make whenever someone comes over.

[What you need]

1 loaf ciabatta bread
2 large tomatoes
4 cloves garlic
2 cups loosely packed basil
1.5 cups parmesan cheese
olive oil
balsamic glaze***

***I HIGHLY recommend the balsamic glaze from Trader Joe's.  It is over with the olive oils and vinegars and is absolutely amazing.  You can add it to just about everything and it makes it so much better.  I have tried to reduce balsamic vinegar down and make my own but it never turns out as good as this one from Trader Joe's.

[What to do]

Preheat the oven to 400.  Slice open your loaf of bread the long way into 2 pieces and lay them on a baking sheet with the cut sides up.

drizzle some olive oil over both pieces of bread.  Chop up the garlic and sprinkle on top of the bread.  Then put 1 cup of the parmesan cheese on.  Next slice the tomatoes and lay them down on the bread.  Roughly chop the basil and add it on top.  Now top with the last of the cheese.

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.   When it is done just drizzle on the balsamic glaze, slice and enjoy!
