Best Dressed: Academy Awards (aka THE OSCARS) 2014

Last night's biggest night in Hollywoods, the 86th Annual Academy Awards (aka THE OSCARS) are one of fashions biggest nights!  The stars walk down what is essentially the biggest runway filled with photographers and cameras pointed at them from every camera.  The light, white, and champagne dresses dominated the red carpet and the designers seriously upped their beading and sequined game.  There were so many beautiful gowns, it was hard to pick our favorites.  Here is our Best Dressed List for the 86th Annual Academy Awards.

Oscar nominee for Best Actress in American Hustle, Amy Adams stunned in navy blue strapless Gucci mermaid gown.  The detailing at the top and the way the gown hugs her curves makes her look flawless.

Mrs. Matthew McConaughey, Camilla Alves looked amazing as usual in a long sleeved Gabriela Cadena light pink gown.  The one shouldered cap/sleeve on it is done to perfection.  This is proof you don't have to show a lot of skin and can still look super sexy!

Oh Charlize Theron!  A statuesque goddess in a black Dior Haute Couture mermaid gown with illusion straps.  The sheer paneling is just genius and her pairing it with minimal jewels and sleeked back hair really make the dress the center of attention.

America's Sweetheart, Jennifer Lawrence wore Dior!  No surprise there as she is the latest spokesmodel for the fashion empire.  This red strapless gown with side peplums is far from her dropped waist white ball gown we saw at last years Oscars.  But in true J Law fashion, she still tripped in it!  We don't care, she still looks royalty!

Hollywood veteran Julia Roberts got some attention in this black Givenchy Haute Couture lace column gown.  We loved the deep V neckline and once again saw a peplum waist on the dress!  (I think we have a trend starting to appear!)  Black is tricky when you're trying to make a statement on the red carpet but if anyone can do it, its Julia Roberts!

Ok we are swooning over Kate Hudson in this Atelier Versace white gown.  This is definitely our favorite of the night!  The beading detail, the deep-v neckline, the cap in the back, the train, we love it all!  The cape is actually draped so that it also shows off the open back of the gown!  This is pure perfection, it doesn't get any better than this!

Oscar winner Lupita Nyongo and Hollywood newcomer has once again proven she is a fashion icon in the making!  All award season we have been seeing her in these bright shapely column gowns (Is anyone else still dreaming of her red Ralph Lauren dress from the Golden Globes?)  Well she had her princess moment in the pale blue Prada gown.  The full skirt and flowy shape of the gown with all of the gathering at the waist was a welcomed change.  She just proved she can wear anything and make it look amazing!

Maria Menounos sparkled in this white beaded Johanna Johnson dress.  The conservative bodice with cap sleeves and the mini train just looked amazing.  Pairing it with an imperfectly-perfect braided crown hair style made her look like a greek goddess.

Naomi Watts in a white Calvin Klein Collection column dress looks amazing, but what took it to the next level was how she paired it with a geometric statement necklace!  We never would have thought to put those two together but they look fantastic, well done!

Once again Olivia Wilde has made our Best Dressed List!  She knows how to rock her best accessory, her baby bump!  This Valentino gown looks impeccable on the mom-to-be and the hint of white down the back adds a playful surprise.  Its not that often you see a turtle neck gown on the red carpet but she can really pull it off!
