Spicy Grilled Brussel Sprouts

Brussel Sprouts are one of those veggies that has such a bad rap.  Which personally, I don't understand how anyone can not like them! They are totally delicious.  It is pretty much like asparagus and an artichoke had a love child and out came brussel sprouts.  Add in a little kick of spice, and the grill and you might have the best version of a veggie, like ever.  Seriously, they were amazing.

[What you Need]

Large brussel sprouts
olive oil
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

[What to do]

Make sure you have some pretty big brussel sprouts. You don't want them to fall between the grates and into the darkness of the grill!  Wash and trim off the ends and pull off the outer small leaves.  Put them in a plastic bag and drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.  Then add in the crushed red pepper, cayenne pepper and garlic powder.  Toss it all together so that everything is coated.

Heat your grill to 400 and throw on your brussel sprouts.  Grill for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through or until they are tender and you can pierce the center of one of with a fork.  Enjoy your spicy grilled brussel sprouts!
