Well I have some exciting news, I got a new job doing visual merchandising for West Elm, Bay Street! I feel so honored to be a part of such an amazing team of talented people. I have always looked at West Elm as one of those creative and visually stimulating stores you go to to get inspiration for ways to decorate your own home and now that I am getting to be a part of it really is surreal.
I can't take credit for any of these beautiful displays, they were done by the ever-so-talented team that I am becoming a part of. I cannot wait for when we get to start doing the holiday floorsets, I think the holidays are the prettiest (and craziest) times in visual merchandising for retail stores.
I am so excited to have such amazing co-workers. Everyone has been so supportive and just genuinely nice, it has made coming into such a tight group of people so easy. I think the hardest part is going to be not spending my entire paycheck in the store! haha I have a feeling there are going to be lots of new things added to our house in the near future!
