Who doesn't love some good old fashioned Cheesy Mac N Cheese! And this one is the Cheesiest! And it is baked which makes it just THAT much better and you get a crispy crust on the top that adds a little texture, too!
I started out with John Legends Recipe for Mac and Cheese and stayed pretty true to the recipe except for a few minor changes:
When it comes to the cheese, I used 2 (8-ounce) bags of cheddar, 2 (8-ounce) bags of jack and 1 of the bags of shredded Parmesan cheese from Trader Joe's.
Into the milk mixture, I also added in 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg and a little more of the seasoned salt.
I also cooked it for a little longer, I cooked it for 25 minutes covered with foil and then another 25 minutes uncovered and then about 3 minutes under the broiler to get it extra crispy on top for a little crunch.
