Well this years MTV VMA's had a lot to live up to after last years Miley-foam-finger incident! Well, this red carpet definitely was not one to disappoint! The VMA's are notorious for controversial fashion and we had everything from Katy Perry channeling Britney circa 2001 AMAs to Julianne Hough in a navy blue grecian inspired gown. We are here to provide you with our Darling or Disastrous at the 2014 MTV VMA's!
DISASTROUS: Amber Rose walked the red carpet in a barely-there chain "dress: and some itty-bitty bottoms. Clearly she was making a statement but we are pretty sure she forgot her pants!
DARLING: Chanel Iman stunned in this covered up yet still super sexy black dress. The lines and detailing gave it just the right amount of fun to keep her looking smokin hot.
DISASTROUS: Charli Xcx rocked a tiger print jumpsuit on the red carpet. It looked more fitting for something out of Katy Perry's ROAR music video, not really loving it on the red carpet at the VMA's though!
DARLING: Demi Lovato went for a more classic old hollywood look in a long sleeved red dress with plunging neckline and high slit. And we are totally loving it!
DARLING: Jordin Sparks showed off some serious curves in this white fitted dress. The bombshell certainly knows how to rock the plunging neckline!
DARLING: Jourdan Dunn wore one of this seasons biggest trends, the crop top! Who knew the midriff baring look could carry so much glamour on the red carpet! The elegance and hint of party make this a totally darling VMA red carpet look.
DARLING: Julianne Hough went a little more formal on the VMAs red carpet with a navy blue grecian inspired dress and we are loving it! The deep slit in the neckline and the little cutouts at the waist make it a little more sexy which was perfect for the VMAs
DISASTROUS: Katy Perry paid tribute to Britney Spears circa 2001 American Music Awards in an all denim look. We didn't love it then and we don't love it now! But props for the nod to the Queen.
DARLING: Miley Cyrus looked absolutely amazing last night! No foam finger anywhere in sight and more covered up than her usual attire and we are loving it! The disney starlet turned wild child brought so much chic to the red carpet in high waisted pants and a crop top.
DISASTROUS: In what world is Miley Cyrus on our best dressed list and Taylor Swift is on the worst dressed list?? She is usually an icon of elegance but last nights mini jumpsuit thing in a just weird print was not working for us. Is the new pop album bring out some new Taylor style too? Lets hope she goes back to her ever so chic way of dressing...
