Smoked Honey BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders, in the Crockpot!

Remember when we made Chicken Wings 3 Ways a few days ago?  Well we had a lot of the Smoked Honey BBQ sauce left so we made some pulled chicken sliders in the yummy BBQ sauce!  It was the perfect way to use up the extra sauce and since it was insanely hot this past week in San Diego, we made it in the crockpot so we didn't have to turn the oven on.  Trust me when I say, you will love this Smoked Honey BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders!

[What you need]

5 chicken breasts
slider buns
olive oil for toasting the buns
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/3 cup white distilled vinegar
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
salt
pepper

[What to do]

Add all of the ingredients for the sauce into a sauce pan and stir until well combined.  Then heat over medium heat until it comes to a boil and turn it down and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.  Add the chicken breasts and BBQ sauce into the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until you can easily pull the chicken apart with 2 forks.

Shred the chicken and let it cook in the sauce for another 45 minutes on low.  When you are ready to eat, slice your buns in half, drizzle with olive oil and toast in the broiler or on the grill until crispy.  Build your sliders and enjoy!  I suggest eating them with some yummy Corn on the Cob and some baked beans!
